The limits of mushroom cultivation & testing are really unknown... Our goals are in educated awareness of the medicine and knowing how to dose! Dosing and novel growing conditions for Psilocybe fungi and now in other entheogenic and functional medicines as well are researched by our lab

With fungi, its history has for so long been constricted, the cultivators & testers of today should push the current boundaries of mycology into new fields of research. We can't overstate the importance of trying new things when working with fungi, nor can we summarize the great value of learning from mistakes and experiments and yes failures! Many techniques & insights presented in our research are based on our own experiences; some of which, we did intentionally just because others told us not too even try! 

Every time knowledge is gained on how fungi respond to novel growing conditions the skills of the group and the depth of discussions surrounding fungi cultivation advances one step forward. Without exception, we would never fully understand what the possibilities are without trying, many great advances in science have been made this way. IF only we repeat what others say is “the correct way” about fungi, we deny our ability to form our own relationships with them. By slowing down and paying attention to the responses in the fungi that we learn most directly from them. They will guide you in ways we cannot teach. "Stop and smell the fungi!"

Beyond basic cultivation & breeding techniques, the MagicMyco.Org A.K.A IntroArts Lab, can offer the community a service if the form of various Lab Testing & published research experiments including HPLC and lab assays. Testing not only potency but also toxicity while comparing against a set of standard variables, CRMs and controls. We will test Psilocybe, Gourmets, Extracts and even Substrates! Method development is well under way! In this way we have taken an Open Source, research based approach to the business by educating the public on the findings of this lab and providing a valuable service. A service that we hope will pave the way towards standardizations in fungi testing thus leading the way to new exciting research and yes Legalization! It will undoubtable aid in awareness about this medicine and how to dose. For instance we are some of the first to implement Psilocybin/ Psilocin "Equivalency" values, given the end user a more educated outlook on dosing and duration. Like-wise also some of our other breakthrough research into MAOIs, Ergosterol, Oxalates, and Vitamin content of so called "magic mushrooms" - we " MagicMycoFam & Doma Nunzio" are among the very first to research & put all this together. We have set rigorous methods and a high bar, Many will come to find the research and follow... and that is why we do this....

On a ground roots community level the MagicMycoFam research Team can help the world better understand the medicine they are growing and the potency which it contains. Also the toxicity & other factors during cultivation which will be included in the In-depth reports & Lab Assay and will provide pertinent information on the genetic taxonomy and cultivation methods and their affects and how to improve them. Currently with our 2 HPLC we are validating our own methods across systems; a first step to achieving these goals. Our results will also be peer reviewed around the world by HPLC professionals!
